04:56 AM EDT, 07/01/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Zebra Technologies (ZBRA) said in a regulatory filing late Thursday it agreed to pay Honeywell International (HON) $360 million in damages to resolve all patent-related litigation between the companies.
The companies agreed to a mutual general release from all past claims and entered into a covenant not to sue for patent infringement, according to the filing. They also entered into a royalty-free cross-license with respect to each of their existing patent portfolio for the lives of the licensed patents.
根据备案文件，两家公司同意共同全面免除过去的所有索赔，并签订了不起诉专利侵权的契约。他们还签订了关于其现有专利组合在许可专利的有效期内免使用费的交叉许可。
The damages will be charged to Zebra's Q2 results and will be paid in equal quarterly installments over eight quarters, the company said.

Honeywell International shares slipped 0.6% in recent premarket trading Friday, while Zebra Technologies shares were down 0.2% Thursday in after-hours trading.
