Schweitzer-Mauduit International，Neenah的合并业务将被命名为Mativ

07:57 AM EDT, 06/21/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Schweitzer-Mauduit International (SWM) and Neenah (NP) said Tuesday their combined business will be named Mativ upon completion of their pending all-stock merger.

The new company will trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "MATV", while current "SWM" and "NP" symbols will be disabled, they said.

The two companies said that the deal is expected to close around July 1, subject to their shareholders' and Poland's antitrust authorization. Shareholders of both companies are expected to vote on the transaction on June 29.

In March, both companies said they entered into a definitive merger agreement to combine in a all-stock merger of equals with combined revenue of about $3 billion.
