04:23 PM EDT, 06/15/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Vectrus (VEC) said Wednesday afternoon that it has obtained shareholder approval for its merger with Vertex.
Once the deal closes, the combined entity will be named V2X and its common shares will trade on the NYSE under the "VVX" ticker name, the company said.

As previously announced, Vertex shareholders will own about 62% of the combined company, while the rest will go to Vectrus shareholders, the company said.

The merger is set to close in Q3, the company added.
