05:40 AM EST, 02/08/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Evergreen International Holdings (HKG:0238) will be delisted from the Hong Kong bourse tomorrow, Feb. 9.
The clothing manufacturer, which recently got a winding-up order from the Cayman Islands Grand Court, is facing a delisting over its failure to meet the trading resumption conditions set by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Evergreen's appeal to the delisting decision was denied following the rejection of its request to extend the Sept. 29, 2021 deadline to fulfill the trading resumption conditions.
The company was hit with a delisting order over its failure to remedy the issues causing its suspension, including rectifying loan transaction discrepancies and publishing all outstanding financial results.
Trading in the shares of Evergreen has been suspended since March 30, 2020, according to a late Monday filing.
