06:48 AM EST, 12/02/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Apple (AAPL) is dominating chatter at the Wallstreetbets forum while other stocks stage a rebound ahead of Thursday's opening bell.
Shares of Apple fell 2% following a report from Bloomberg News that it may be forced to cut back its production target for its iPhone 13 lineup due to falling demand for the most sought-after handsets.
Among other widely mentioned stocks, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) rose marginally, reversing from yesterday's 5.9% drop at the close. Tesla (TSLA) rose just shy of 1%. The automaker said in a regulatory filing that it moved its headquarters to Austin, Texas.
Meta Platforms (FB) gained 1.2% and AMC Entertainment (AMC) rose 3.1%, recovering from Wednesday's 16% decline.
Palantir (PLTR) inched higher, coming from a 6% slump yesterday. Alibaba (BABA) climbed 2% while meme stock staple GameStop (GME) rose 2.5%. Nvidia (NVDA) shares were also higher while Snowflake (SNOW) soared past 15% as the cloud computing-based data warehousing company narrowed its loss and more than doubled its revenue in Q3.
