DraftKings goes public with no live sports

Shareholders of special-purpose acquisition company Diamond Eagle (NASDAQ:DEAC) have approved a merger with DraftKings, which will begin trading on the Nasdaq today under ticker symbol "DKNG."
The agreement also includes a merger with SBTech Global, which provides online betting platforms and odds-making services.
DraftKings's debut comes even as the industry is upended by most sports being called off in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
