Wall Street's main indexes slipped and the S&P 500 came off record highs on Wednesday as U.S. President Donald Trump's latest tariff threats raised the specter of higher inflation and markets awaited minutes from the central bank's January meeting. .N

At 13:30 EST, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.34% at 44,399.62. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.06% at 6,133.32 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.06% at 20,049.11.
